Burnt the Corn…

Photo 64/365 of my 365 photo a day project. Someone burnt the corn, thought it would make a good shot. The golden kernels and all.
Limekiln burn area

Limekiln is closed and in person you can see why — it really suffered from the fire. Deep canyons filled with both scrub and California Redwoods, I guess it was just perfect fire fuel. This is one of my favorite campgrounds and has a couple great hikes. I hope they can restore the area soon. Good luck Limekiln!
