Last Sunday (26th April, 2009), some of the attendees of the Golden Ticket event found that the Golden Tickets they had purchased in order to gain access to the event were worth far more than expected.

On the day of the event, the stub from each Golden Ticket was collected and placed into a huge draw, where the lucky owners of the 10 drawn tickets won prizes. The prizes included iPod nanos, Sat Navs, portable DVD players and even a brand new flat screen TV.
How would you like to have the chance to win prizes like these every cycle? Well, you can!
From 11th May, we will be awarding participating Playing Members with virtual Golden Tickets for each syndicate that they take part in. So, if you’re playing the UK Lotto, EuroMillions and/or the Spanish Superdraw, you will receive Golden Tickets each time you play. If you play in the Spanish Superdraw and one other game (UK or EURO) during the same cycle, you will receive one bonus Golden Ticket for each entry in that UK or EURO game. It’s so simple to collect these Golden Tickets!
They will all be put into a draw every cycle, where some lucky ticket-holders could win anything from an iPod nano to a brand new flat-screen TV. Much like a raffle, the more Golden Tickets you have, the more chances you have of winning a prize! Imagine how big your Personal Group Volume could be once everyone goes Golden Ticket-crazy!
There’s a great deal more fantastic Golden Ticket news to tell you! Watch out for more news on this blog over the next few days!

Irish Lottery
The Irish National Lottery pays in excess of 50% of its funds in prize money. The balance is used to fund projects in Ireland in the areas of health, sport, recreation, arts, culture and national heritage, including the Irish language.
The jackpot is never lower than 2,000,000.00 Euros and is frequently worth in excess of 5,000,000.00 Euros . It can rise to 10,000,000 Euros and more. The Irish Lottery draw takes place every Wednesday and Saturday night on national television
The jackpot prize is won by matching the first six numbers drawn (1 to 45).
A seventh number is also drawn and is called the ‘bonus’ number.
Prizes can also be won by matching five numbers, five numbers plus the bonus number, four numbers, four numbers plus the bonus number or three numbers plus the bonus number.
Although people tend to pick their own lucky numbers, a ‘quick pick’ option is available which instructs the Lotto computer to select the entry numbers.
Irish Lottery Prizes are tax-free and are paid out in one lump sum.

e-lottery, the smarter way to play
On Saturday, 28th February 2009, an e-lottery syndicate matched 4 balls, as well as 1 which ALL e-lottery syndicates are GUARANTEED to match, in the UK Lotto draw.
The numbers drawn: 6, 25, 33, 37, 42, 43
Syndicate’s main numbers: 6, 25, 29, 37, 43
Because of how e-lottery syndicates’ numbers are made up, if 2 or more syndicate numbers are matched, you will share more than one prize! So, this e-lottery syndicate had 2×5-ball wins and 42×4-ball wins, making a total of £6,734.07! Imagine winning a share of that!
Each member of the winning syndicate has had £137.43 posted into their e-wallet. If you played on your own and matched 4 numbers in the same draw, you would only have won £75. By playing as part of an e-lottery syndicate, all of the winning syndicate’s players have received nearly double this.
Congratulations to you all!
What a perfect example of how e-lottery really is the smarter way to play.
