El Gordo results
If you were one of the thousands of members who took part in the El Gordo Christmas draw, you’ll be eager to find out how much your syndicate has won.
Children from the San Ildefonso School in Madrid spent several hours pulling the ticket numbers and prize amounts from the two baskets of balls. The winning ticket was drawn at around midday.
More than 3 million people tuned in to Spanish channel TVE1 to watch the draw live – including the staff at VWD! You can see the first prize being drawn by clicking here.
The winning tickets bear the numbers 32365. The numbers were sung as a Gregorian chant by Madrid schoolchildren during a televised draw.
Tickets have been sold online to more than 140 countries and were purchased by four out of five Spanish residents.
